FRANTISEK DRTIKOL I.

In a moments of the deepest spiritual darkness, you turn to some stabile and everlasting pillar of faith, hope, wisdom and deep spiritual life.

Frana Drtikol has been and is one of the ones.

He aimed far, and he reached it.



Almost undiscovered even by his closest people, he lived in the deepest depths of wisdom, knowledge and experience. In his case, you cannot talk about a faith. A faith in God.. how can a wave on an ocean have a faith that the ocean exists, when it realizes the pure existence of the ocean and nothing else?

How can a wave believe in the sea?

How can a sunbeam believe in the Sun?

Well, how simple..and how hard to get to this point..

I'll be proud to share some of the thoughts and remarks of this once famous photographer and artist with you.

I know that it may be too proud of me, for I am so so far from his thoughts right now, being 'stuck in a place where nothing awaits for me', but I am sticking to this guy who almost 80 years ago laid down thoughts that are so true like true are sunbeams that come to heat our cheeks every morning. I am sorry Frana, but I feel relief and hope in your words, I have nothing to say myself, I let the word to you, for you can tell better everything I feel, everything I hope for, everything I trust.

I hope you won't be upset with me.. you help me so much ;o)
And I know that my dark friends won't give me peace for sharing this, but the war's already started, and I won't give up easily ;)

More information about our hooded monk picture I have found on this site. CASTLE OF SPIRITS. It appears to be from the 1963 and was photographed by reverend K. F. Lord at Newby Church in North Yorkshire, England. Even tested by the modern computers,so far there wasn't any evidence given that this picture was a hoax. But there is no evidence that the picture is real as well ;o)

GHOST?

I hope this won't give you creeps.
Well, the thing I would like to share with you today gave me creeps.
I saw once upon a time, when I was a child in A.C. Clarke's mysterious world a picture of a ghostly figure in some church. And I was really scared of it. I was about seven or eight years old and I remember that picture I had in my mind for a very long time and everytime I remembered that picture I got frisson.
You may laugh, it was just a picture and probably fake, but it wasn't very comfortable to think about what was really on the photograph.
I didn't forget about it for my entire life and since I have the internet at home, I started to hunt after that picture or to get some information about it. Just because I wanted to face up to the thing that scared me once in my childhood and I wanted to make it past once for all.
For years I wasn't successful, until today, I encountered this picture with a short comment on a site engaged in paranormal things.
Even after years, when I saw it, it gave me creeps. But I hope it won't scare me anymore (and honestly, lately I have encountered things a lot more scary and lot more real than this picture ;o)
So here it is, my scary picture of a hooded monk from my childhood. If you know something more about this picture, don't hesitate to write me. I'm really curious about it ;o)


Ghostly Monk
An image of a cowled monk standing by an altar. This photograph was taken in the early 1960s by the vicar of an unknown church in England. The Vicar did not see the ghostly phantom. But his developed film showed the tall phantom monk seen here. It appears to be about three meters tall. The film was carefully checked by photographic experts but showed no signs of tampering.
